We are seeking a dedicated Medical Equipment Technician I to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of vital biomedical equipment that supports and improves patient health.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnosis and Troubleshooting
- Diagnose issues and faults with a variety of biomedical equipment, including but not limited to ventilators, oxygen concentrators, and C-PAP/Bi-PAP machines.
- Perform regular maintenance checks, repairs, and updates to equipment to ensure they meet all safety and performance standards.
- Verify the functionality of equipment post-service to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Maintain detailed records of all services, tests, and repairs conducted.
- Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in the biomedical equipment industry to provide the best service.
- High school diploma or equivalent. (Candidates with a combination of relevant work experience and education will also be considered.)
- Basic understanding of technical and mechanical equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Reliable transportation and a current driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a background check, drug test and physical
- Entry-level technician position with opportunities for career advancement within Bio-Med service.
