Manage construction personally, including department project managers, field technical staff, and controls technicians / engineers assigned to the construction team.
Collaborate with controls engineering resources to perform construction engineering duties. The engineering team shall not report to the construction manager.
Perform or coordinate completion of cost projections for all construction projects on a monthly basis.
Identify appropriate training opportunities for team members to continue educational growth within the group.
Review and approve timesheets and PTO (Paid Time Off) requests.
Estimate and request Project start up information
Review contract documents for completeness
Obtain Business Licenses and Permits as needed
Attend Pre-Construction Conferences
Issue purchase orders for necessary materials
Predict the expense of future projects or products by analyzing monetary costs and other factors
Create, maintain & update project schedules
Solicit subcontractor & material bids
Review contractor and material supplier invoices, company invoices, change order pricing information, drawings and submittals
Review Final Punch List with COO & Superintendent
Submit Red Line Drawings
Maintain organized files for each assigned project
Review / Complete Change Order requests as needed
Review / Submit Monthly Pay Applications
Load and review new projects
Review / Submit Red Line Drawings
Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely manner
Perform other tasks as required to support the President and RC Team
