Position Summary / Purpose
Act in a supportive role to Project Manager, Repair Coordinators, Owners, and Technicians in order to complete projects on schedule. Create high levels of customer satisfaction by going above and beyond to ensure all work is completed in a timely and organized manner through planning and execution within the construction and restoration services.
Compensation package offer is as follows:
- Base Pay: $28-34 per hour (depending on experience)
- Employee will be eligible for compensation increase after 90 days and a formal review
- Paid Holidays after 90 days
- Paid Sick Day after 90 days
- 401K option after 90 days
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and consistent communication with all clients for the repairs department through both written and oral communications
- Intake job leads from various TPA sources
- Coordinate and schedule inspections and appointments with clients, owners, project managers, estimators, insurance reps, etc.
- Draft contracts, change orders, and job related documents.
- Coordinate and assist with scheduling of technicians, carpenters, subcontractors, etc.
- Acquire building permits as needed
- Source and purchase project materials and ensure they are within budget and delivered to jobsite on time
- Achieve positive and above average scores through TPA’s
- Answer all incoming department phone calls
- Maintain job accuracy and up-to-date information through multiple software programs
- Act in a supportive role to Project Manager, Owners, and Technicians in order to complete projects on schedule
Qualifications- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- High School or GED required. It is a plus if you have a background within the construction/restoration industry, but it is definitely not required.
- Basic understanding of financial reports. Ability to review completed job costing, assess performance, and identify areas for improvement.
- Adequate math skills. Able to quickly and effectively translate remaining work into manpower planning and project completion times, and review and assess labor time reporting. Effectively project job costs based on work remaining.
- Demonstrates intermediate to advanced proficiency in the use of computers and computer software.
- Effective in receiving feedback and input from employees with a positive attitude, probing for additional information or unspoken issues, and providing timely response.
