OverviewWe are seeking a Bilingual Patient Support Representative who enjoys helping people with compassion and integrity, to join our team.ResponsibilitiesWe help our patients by :
- Screening patients to determine eligibility for Government & Third-Party programs such as Medicaid, ACA / marketplace, and Social Security Disability, assisting patients throughout the application process
- Building relationships and providing excellent customer service to patients, patient families, partner staff, agencies and peers to help facilitate applications
- Communicating, clearly and effectively both orally and in writingMust be :
- Self-motivated, dependable and adaptable
- Organized and have strong time-management skills
- Able to follow all HIPAA, state and federal guidelines
- Knowledgeable of office equipment including, phone, fax, computers and email
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) requiredQualificationsPast experience desired, not required :
- Medicaid experience
- Work in hospital or medical office setting
- Insurance verification
- Social Services and / or Patient Advocate
