Job Description:
Absolut Care of Gasport is seeking a dedicated LPN Unit Manager to lead our nursing team at our premier skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. In this leadership role, you’ll oversee daily nursing operations, ensuring high-quality resident care in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Nursing Staff: Lead and mentor LPNs and CNAs to deliver exceptional resident care.
- Direct Patient Care: Administer medications, monitor resident conditions, and update care plans.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure nursing practices meet state and federal guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of treatments, medications, and care provided.
Qualifications:
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in NYS
- Previous supervisory experience in skilled nursing or long-term care (preferred).
- Strong clinical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices.
