Job Summary
We are seeking a Teller Supervisor to oversee the teller area and perform teller duties as needed. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, promote bank products and services, and process transactions in accordance with bank procedures and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing training and support to Tellers, including writing and conducting performance reviews, participating in new teller training, and mentoring.
- Prepare teller work schedules, review teller work on a regular basis, and conduct teller audits.
- Handle complex customer issues referred by the lead teller or other tellers.
- Address teller performance and teamwork issues, handle disciplinary actions, and communicate with the Branch President/Manager.
- Perform teller duties while assisting customers with concerns and questions, referring to other departments as needed.
Requirements
- Proven quality customer service experience.
- Current experience handling cash and proven success in this role.
- Previous leadership experience (preferably in banking).
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Thorough knowledge of teller services and customer service/relations.
- Basic clerical and processing skills.
- Strong reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and co-workers.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
