Also responsible for performing teller duties when needed (providing excellent customer service and promoting bank products/services while processing transactions and paying out funds in accordance with bank procedures, regulatory and legal compliance requirements).

Proven quality customer service experience, Current experience and proven success handling cash, Previous leadership experience (preferably in banking)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provides ongoing training and support to Tellers by writing and conducting performance reviews, participating in new teller training and mentoring.
- Prepares teller work schedules, reviews teller work on a regular basis and conducts teller audits.
- Handles more complex customer issues that may be referred to the teller supervisor from the lead teller or other tellers.
- Addresses teller performance/teamwork issues and handles any disciplinary actions that may arise, communicating all issues to the Branch President / Branch Manager.
- Performs teller duties while professionally assisting customers with concerns and/or questions that may be mentioned during the transaction and referring to other departments as needed.
Proven quality customer service experience, Current experience and proven success handling cash, Previous leadership experience (preferably in banking)
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS & TRAINING:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Thorough knowledge of teller services and customer service/relations.
- Basic clerical and processing skills.
- Strong reading, writing and mathematical skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and co-workers.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
