Who You Are
We seek a Junior Developer to join our team and contribute to web and software development projects. This role is ideal for someone with foundational coding skills eager to grow in front-end and back-end development. You will collaborate with senior developers, product managers, and marketing to build and maintain web applications, internal tools, and software solutions.What You'll Do
o Implement product updates and new functionality across various websites. o Develop, maintain, and improve web applications. o Assist with back-end development tasks, including APIs, databases, and server-side logic. o Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve accessibility and miscellaneous website issues. o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and develop new features. o Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices. o Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in web development. o Support integration efforts between web platforms and backend services. o Document technical processes and contribute to team knowledge sharing. o Work with version control systems like Git to track changes.
What You Bring
● Education o Preferred: Post-secondary education or relevant certifications. o Big plus: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering. ● Experience o 2 years of experience in software and web development. o Required: Experience with WordPress and WooCommerce. Skills● Required: o Front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript. o Basic back-end development: Python, PHP, Java, or similar. o Experience working with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.). o Understanding of APIs and web services. o Familiarity with Git or other version control systems. o Experience working with Jira. o Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.● Nice to Have (Not Required, but a Plus!): o Familiarity with AWS. o Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles.What We Offer
