As the Account Executive, you'll be the bridge between our clients and our creative and media teams. You’ll play a key role in developing both short- and long-term marketing plans that align with client goals, ensuring seamless communication and execution of every project. Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients. You'll be the go-to expert, handling the day-to-day communication and activities, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
- Become fluent in clients’ businesses to better anticipate their needs and understand their challenges so RCG can better prepare better recommendations and insights.
- Work hand-in-hand with our creative and media teams, transforming information into actionable plans. You’ll create meeting agendas and reports, creative briefs, and media briefs to ensure everyone is aligned and delivering on the client’s vision.
- Assists in developing and presenting proposals, communications plans and media plans for clients. Responsible for annual budget/activity spreadsheets and billing process for assigned clients, making sure to keep them accurate and within scope.
- Champion clients’ projects through internal processes to help ensure timeliness, accuracy and adherence to brand, strategy and budget.
- Reviews all content and sees that all work completes the standard agency approval process before being reviewed by clients or turned over to vendors.
- Always be on the lookout for new opportunities- you’ll actively seek additional projects and new business from client contacts.
- Participate in and contribute to weekly client service and production meetings, offering insights.
- As a dynamic member of the team, you’ll pitch in on special projects and agency initiatives as needed, contributing to the overall success of RCG.
The Ideal Candidate Has:
- 2 years’ experience in project management in an advertising or marketing setting
- Advertising agency experience preferred, but not required.
- Proven knowledge of developing and managing integrated marketing plans
- Proven experience in productively collaborating with team members
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Innate curiosity and desire to learn new things
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously and support your team in doing the same
- Ability and willingness to recognize and clarify ambiguous requests to ensure you are working to solve the right problem vs. just taking an order
- Ability and willingness to adapt to dynamic client needs
- Ability to navigate fast turnarounds
- Ability to use diplomacy to balance shifting priorities
