Entry Level Field Technician I
Intertek PSI, is searching for an Entry Level Field Technician I to join our Building & Constructionteam in our Canton (Boston), Massachusetts office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in the architectural, engineering, and construction (A / E / C) industry!
The Field Technician is responsible for performing a variety of construction materials testing, project specific observations and site assessment duties under general supervision and / or from detailed controlled procedures. The testing and documentation is generally performed on active construction sites.
What you'll do :
- Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (example : Soil, concrete or other) and provide assessment of data through reporting
- Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams
- Use specific methods and perform tasks to make detailed observations of site activities and give limited interpretation of results
- Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results
