What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC Install Coordinator position at RCL Mechanical?
The Position
As an Install Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our HVAC installation projects, collaborating with internal teams and customers to deliver exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Review job costs on completed jobs and identify variances and communicate any challenges with the sales & service department.
- Assist other team members in the resolution of all critical issues with a focus on quality, cost, and schedule. Provide documentation as necessary.
- Visit job sites as needed to ensure quality installation.
- Order equipment and supplies for jobs.
- Communicate and manage install schedule with support of the Service Manager.
- Review all jobs for accuracy and remediate any discrepancies.
- Review KPIs with installation teams and ensure numbers are posted on target boards that are clearly visible for the company.
- Assist and provide training to field technicians on site.
- Confirm all necessary job permits are pulled prior to arrival
- Perform regular safety walks with field staff and record observations
- Communicate with field technicians and provide support when needed
- Review quality of installation, reviews, callbacks, and opportunities for add-on enhancement products
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 2-4 years of HVAC Install experience (Required)
- Service Titan experience is a plus
- Self-motivated and flexible team player that isn’t afraid to ask for help
- Positive attitude
- Deadline driven
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must possess excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in office software (Word, Excel, Google Drive, etc.)
- Must be able to lift 20lbs and stand for long periods of time
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
