The Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician provides essential medical care to female offenders in both inpatient and outpatient settings at a facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Responsibilities include crisis intervention, daily assessments, admissions, and medication management, maintaining regular working hours. This ongoing role addresses a critical need within the Department of Public Safety, ensuring timely support and services for the population served.
We are contracted with the North Carolina Department of Public Safety and they have a current need at an all female facility in Raleigh. This need is an inpatient and outpatient case load. Hours of work are Monday through Friday 8 : 30am - 4 : 30 pm. Duties include crisis intervention, admissions, daily assessments, and medication management of the female offender population.
