Job Title: Wound Care Nurse Manager – MLTC – Hybrid

Location: Bronx, NY (Hybrid after training and orientation: 3 Days in Bronx office, 2 Days Remote)

Salary Range: $105,000 - $125,000 Annually with Generous Benefit Package

Position Overview

A large Managed Long Term Care (MLTC) program with offices throughout New York is seeking a dedicated and experienced Wound Care Nurse Manager based out of their Bronx office. This hybrid role requires a dynamic professional who can manage both in-office and remote responsibilities effectively. After the initial training and probation period, you will work three days a week in our Bronx office and two days remotely. Telehealth visits will be a key component of your training and education activities. As the Wound Care Nurse Manager, you will provide evaluation, teaching, and training to staff, members, families, or designated representatives on wound care management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with physicians and Chief Medical Officer to develop treatment plans for members with active wounds according to current wound care protocols;
• Monitors the effectiveness of current wound treatment plan and provides appropriate follow-up, direction and instruction to staff, members/family.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Current New York State Registered Nurse License required. Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree preferred.
• Three (3) years of experience in an Acute Care setting required. Current Wound Care Certification.
• Staff development or adult instruction, and/or home care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Department of Health and Managed Long Term Care standards for home care required. MS Office required. Ability to speak effectively before groups, customers, or employees of the organization.
