Role : Assembly Operator Technician

Compensation : Up to $26 / hour commensurate with experience

Location : Middlesex, NJ

Length of Contract : 9 months

Position Description :

RCM's client is seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Operator Technician to assemble RF and optical components, including PCBs with intricate traces, optical splitters, WDMs, LEDs, laser diodes, and photodiodes. Experience in electronics manufacturing, especially within telecommunications, is highly preferred. This role requires precise workmanship, occasional complex soldering, troubleshooting skills, and proficiency with test equipment (spectrum analyzers, power meters, oscilloscopes, signal generators)

Responsibilities :

• ssemble and integrate RF and optical components, following detailed work instructions and drawings, performing occasional intricate soldering.
• Conduct in-process quality checks using test equipment, inspect assemblies, troubleshoot issues, and record quality data (digital and manual).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in RF and optical systems, identifying and resolving issues related to components, soldering, wiring, or configuration.
• pply Lean principles to improve assembly processes and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, quality checks, and testing results (digital and manual).
• Collaborate with team members, engineers, and supervisors to ensure timely task completion, communicate issues, and share knowledge.
