Full-time Contract Role
Title or Role: Help Desk Technician
Compensation: Up to $30/hr. commensurate with experience
Location: On site in Rockville MD
Length of Contract: 1 Year

Company: This is a role within the RCM Life Sciences Solution team to support a project at one of our Biotechnology clients.
Position description: Provide Onsite Support to end-users in the use of existing and new technologies, hardware and software. Provide first level Help Desk support in a timely and accurate fashion. If you have initiative, drive and strong technical skills, this job is for you!
Responsibilities:
- Set up user laptops and desktop workstations
- InTune and SharePoint exp.
- Configure and deploy laptop images for upgrades/new users
- Administer and troubleshoot network printers and scanners
- Maintain and manage file share access, and organizational group policies
- Maintain, create, terminate user accounts
- Process inbound requests to the Helpdesk promptly.
- Provide System Admin support such as security badge access
- Adhere to established best practices and policies .
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of the following:
- Install, modify, and support antivirus / antimalware software on computers
- Microsoft Office 365 support
- Add and remove teammates to Office 365
- Add and remove teammates from distribution lists
- Grant permissions to SharePoint
- Trouble shoot Exchange problems
- Able to support users locally and remotely
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- Install and manage updates on all computers
- Maintain inventory of all information technology systems
- Strong trouble shooting skills on all Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive, etc.
- Review daily backups
Working knowledge of the following
- Intune
- Understand manual and automatic enrollment methods
- Manage user devices
- Manage policies
- Manage applications deployments and their updates
- Deploy scripts
- Windows Defender
Education & Certifications:
- A four-year degree, or equivalent experience, and three plus years of experience of IT related experience in a corporate environment
- Hands-on experience with desktop support
