RCO is looking for an experienced Plant Manager to manage our Sheet Metal Manufacturing activities in Roseville, MI. We are looking for a person who has a proven track record of managing low-mid volume production manufacturing functions in a metal stamping environment. The successful candidate must be able to provide leadership and professional management for the Metal Stamping Department of RCO. The Plant Manager reports directly to the RCO Corporate Executive Committee.
Qualifications:
- Ability to measure Cost Per Unit (CPU) and effect meaningful improvement.

- Employ Lean Manufacturing Principles in all areas of manufacturing, including:
- Work in Process (WIP)
- Inventory Management
- Scrap
- Human capacity utilization
- Equipment capacity utilization
- 5S Initiatives
- Support Quality, Sales, Estimating, Program Management, Procurement and other internal RCO Departments in achieving Corporate Goals.
- Demonstrate competent understanding and utilization of ERP System data (Epicor).
- Promote a Team Atmosphere for the Metal Stamping Department.
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or demonstrated industry experience
The RCO Metal Stamping Department specializes in Tool Design, Stamping, Laser Cutting, Robotic and Manual Welding. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Manufacturing for the Automotive and Aerospace industries. In addition, knowledge of the trades involved in metal fabrication would be a plus.
