What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at RCO Property Management?
Are you the kind of person who sees a leaky faucet and not only knows how to fix it but also thinks about the frustration of the homeowner who dealt with it? At RCO Home Management, we believe in caring for people over properties, and we’re looking for a Maintenance Technician who embodies this mindset. At RCO Property Management, we help business executives with their 2nd homes in Park City UT, managing everything from housekeeping to maintenance.
The Role
This is not a typical maintenance job — it’s about serving clients with empathy and excellence. You’ll handle hands-on, practical home repairs while providing an experience that reassures and delights homeowners.
Responsibilities
- Perform home maintenance and basic repairs: fix leaky drains, patch drywall, replace thermostats, repair cabinets, stock water softener salt, and more.
- Conduct property inspections to identify and address issues before they impact homeowners.
- Manage small projects and coordinate vendors when specialized skills are needed.
The Ideal Candidate
- Problem Solver with Heart: You have the technical ability to make homes function smoothly and the emotional intelligence to empathize with homeowners.
- Detail-Oriented and Proactive: You notice small issues and prevent big ones.
- A Great Communicator: You know how to explain solutions and reassure clients.
- Comfortable with General Home Repairs: Basic plumbing, minor carpentry, caulking, grout repair, and similar tasks.
Bonus Skills
- Familiarity with home systems and vendor management.
- Experience working with high-end residential properties.
We believe that great maintenance is about more than fixing things — it’s about caring deeply for the people you serve.
