Position Summary

The Analyst, Fundraising and Business Development, plays a vital role in supporting the team's efforts to secure investor commitments to its funds and drive business growth. This position involves assisting with the creation of pitch materials, coordinating investor meetings, and tracking communications. The Analyst will also contribute to market research and identify potential leads.

In addition to supporting the team, this role offers significant opportunities for skill development in prospecting and pitching. The Analyst will gain hands on experience in crafting investment pitches and engaging with potential investors.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the fundraising team with various tasks, including handling data requests, managing due diligence inquiries, planning travel and updating pipeline.
  • Collaborate with team members to handle tasks such as qualitative and quantitative data requests, cash flow analysis, and tracking ongoing fundraising opportunities for each investment strategy.
  • Maintain firm’s proprietary CRM database by uploading accounts and contacts on a daily basis.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of pitching RCP and build the skills needed to deliver pitches independently.
  • Identify, develop and cultivate relationship with new prospects: endowments, foundations, family offices, corporate/public pensions, consultants and advisors.
  • Act in professional and ethical manner both in the office and with other team members when representing the firm externally.


Requirements and Qualifications

Required & Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business management or related field
  • 1 yea of professional working experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience with Salesforce is a plus
  • Willing and able to travel up to 10% of the year
