Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Deliver instruction in various subjects, including Algebra, while accommodating diverse learning styles.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and projects.
- Provide individualized support to students, including tutoring and special education assistance as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and share resources.
- Participate in school events and contribute to extracurricular activities such as sports coaching or library services.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of subject matter, particularly in Algebra and special education strategies.
- Experience in lesson planning, tutoring, and classroom management is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in copy editing and proofreading.
- Ability to calculate student performance metrics effectively.
- Experience with private school settings is a plus but not required.
