RCT Systems is seeking a part-time (24 hours/week) Information Review and Release Analyst located in Herndon, VA. The role involves overseeing the declassification process of documents related to litigation cases, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards such as the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Privacy Act, and Executive Order 13526. The analyst must manage sensitive information, prepare documents for legal counsel, and act as a liaison with other government agencies (OGAs). Additionally, the individual will conduct research to determine the relevance of new records and analyze previously declassified documents. Key responsibilities include reviewing, redacting, and organizing classified materials, providing rationale for redactions, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.

- Review and redact classified documents as per standard procedures.
- Organize and prepare documents for declassification review.
- Collaborate with teams for scanning, research, and initial searches.
- Assist in training new team members.
- Provide feedback and recommend improvements to workflows.
- Work a shift from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional surge support.
- At least 6 years of experience with classified information review and redaction in line with FOIA, PA, EO 13526, and Mandatory Declassification Review (EOMDR).
- Candidates with analytic experience in intelligence, foreign disclosure, or related fields will also be considered.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
- Knowledge of the sponsor's culture and requirements.
