Summary
Marketing Coordinator is responsible for enabling the delivery of creative projects and programs (both copy and artwork) for event-related marketing, institutional marketing, advertising, video marketing, online marketing, and email marketing.
Essential Functions
  • Design various promotional materials across a variety of mediums – particularly print, design, videography and photography
  • Develop, design, and produce copy and graphic art
  • Formulate and pitch creative concepts
  • Manage RD Industries social media accounts
  • Develop ongoing marketing email campaigns
  • Assist in creation of company brand guidelines
  • Ensure that the visual identity and functionality of all print, web, and social media is consistent and contains up-to-date information
  • Prioritizes tasks and projects according to businesses' needs and turn-around time
  • Clearly communicates creative ideas and collaborates with internal and external partners/teams
  • Demonstrates knowledge of print and production principles and best practices in the management and coordination of the creative process
  • Stays current with trends in the industry
  • Coordinates and delivers all aspects of the company’s presence for tradeshows and events

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Education/Experience
  • 1-2 years’ experience in marketing, communications, or public relations with demonstrated success, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, and public relations preferred
  • Knowledge of typography, color, and production
  • Proficiency and experience with Adobe In-Design, Illustrator, and Photoshop and other comparable print software
  • Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to design and present information clearly and creatively
  • Experience managing projects or working in project team environments
