Warehouse/Mover

Responsibilities

• Load and unload items from trucks and other vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Pick and stage items to be loaded for jobs.
• Sto items returning from jobs in proper location.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized.
• Work closely with designers to assure correct items are ready to be loaded.
• Inspect returning items for any damage and determine proper course of action.
• Handle heavy lifting of furniture, appliances, and other large items while maintaining proper lifting techniques.
• Use equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to assist in moving heavy items when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage and loading areas.
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a mover or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate box trucks and perform manual transmission driving tasks.
• Strong physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds or more).
• Familiarity with using pallet jacks, forklifts, or similar equipment is advantageous.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
• A strong work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team in fast-paced environments.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
