Sealcoat Crew Laborer

Job Summary:

A seal coat laborer's job description includes cleaning, preparing, and applying seal coat and crack seal to pavement surfaces. They may also perform other general labor tasks. Some responsibilities include: 

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and preparing driveways and parking lots for seal coating and crack filling
• Applying liquid seal coat to protect and extend the life of the pavement
• Filling cracks in the pavement
• Using and maintaining seal coating equipment, such as sprayers and brushes
• Assisting with tasks such as lifting, carrying materials, and operating basic tools
• Following safety guidelines and protocols
• Performing routine repair and maintenance of equipment
• Communicating daily about the project status
• Directs traffic near, in, or around work zones.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Prior asphalt or concrete construction job experience preferred.
