What are the responsibilities and job description for the Benefits Billing Specialist position at RDG & Partners?
Summary: Responsible for invoicing clients for payroll, benefits and HR services. Manages benefits payments, matching against client policies to ensure accurate collection of payments. Analyze data to identify missed revenue opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage invoicing for payroll service division
- Manage and reconcile benefit payments monthly, including validating commission payments for accuracy and research variances
- Prepare monthly reports and provide analyses as needed
- As assigned, assumes responsibility for special projects involving data analysis and reporting
- Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with internal team.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications, especially Intermediate Excel, with the ability to learn new and existing company-specific software applications including Benefit Zone and QBO
- Accounting System knowledge is a plus
- Ability to take initiative in identifying problems, collecting data, and establishing facts to produce practical decisions and solutions
- Must be very detail-oriented with data entry and ability to review of documents
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent (Associates Degree preferred) and a minimum of 2 years experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
