Job Summary
This position is responsible for ensuring that the indoor facilities are maintained, and company and family events are planned with high standards. This person will manage and work with their team to promote a friendly, efficient and courteous experience, providing all guests with quality service prior to and throughout their stay.
- Manage full service corporate hospitality Training Center.
- Facilitate hiring and manage part-time/seasonal staff for housekeeping/serving.
- Set-up buffet and working area to ensure guests are appropriately serviced.
- Coordinate catering vendors for larger events to include; developing menu, establishing event expectations, event times, etc.
- Ensure indoor facilities are maintained with a four-star cleaning standard.
- Maintain a high standard of presentation.
- Establish a working relationship with corporate host/client.
- Facilitate a positive working atmosphere with catering staff.
- Proactively help other team members as needed in order to prepare for events and maintenance needs.
- Communicate effectively with management, guests and supportive staff.
- Perform administrative duties including timekeeping, scheduling, inventory.
- Understand company standards regarding safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness.
- Represent yourself and company in a professional and positive manner.
- Establish a working style which incorporates flexibility and professionalism while balancing input and feedback from others.
- Willingness to assist co-workers with various tasks and assignments.
- Practice confidentiality inside and outside of the property.
- Manage the use and maintenance of company facilities and equipment in a professional and safe manner.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.
- Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of R.D. Offutt Company.
- Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.
- Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts, including meetings, huddles, department meetings and other related efforts.
- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.
Requirements

- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with a high level of attention to detail.
- Related work experience, including supervisory experience.
- Ability to work under pressure and in various weather conditions.
- Excellent observation, analysis and organization abilities.
- Ability to work independently with limited direction.
- Demonstrate the ability to build positive working relationships and rapport with hospitality client, as well as, team members and management staff to ensure successful event outcome.
- Displays flexibility and openness in daily work and encourages others to stay open to change, improvements, etc.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Candidates must have a valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S without company sponsorship.
