Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites, such as skid steer and mini excavators ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment operations and maintenance, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other team members on-site.
Duties
- Operate heavy machinery including skid steer and mini excavators for various construction tasks.
- Perform digging and building operations while adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow on the construction site.
- Follow project plans and specifications to complete assignments accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a construction environment.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and operation is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team setting.
- Valid driver's license; class A is a plus
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks as required by the job.
