RDS is a successful, growing company that has an excellent position available for a Accounts Receivable position. Working with RDS presents an opportunity to work among automated, state-of-the-art, high-tech recycling equipment and machinery including robotics to see commingled recycling materials be sorted into pristine bales for sale and shipment to end-market vendors where they are remanufactured into new products.
Job Description
This position will be responsible for processing checks and payments, calling customers to collect payments, Audit reports, invoice customers, reconciling Bill of Ladings, weights and invoicing and billing for multiple locations and answering the phone to respond to customer needs/questions. This position should bring a friendly and enthusiastic demeanor to their tasks here at RDS. Must be reliable, on time, and have transportation. Prior accounting work and customer service experience are preferred.
Report to:TheAccount Receivable position will report to the Controller.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Learn how to use the scale software scale programcurrently TRUX -"Weigh-it and Haul-it"
- Send out weekly and monthly reports to the management team.
- Know and enforce visitor policy.
- Work with and assist employees withbasictime clockoperation.
- Works closely with Corporate office.
- Sorts incoming mail and delivers to appropriate department or individual, processes outgoing mail.
- Manages office supply inventory Learn about our customer base.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Experience in NetSuite software is needed.
- Comfortable to learn scale software.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required or associate degree in office administration or related field, preferred.
- Experience working in Accounts Receivable
- Must be reliable and on time.
- Possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
- Prior office work and customer service experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift fifteen (15) pounds at times.
- Must successfully pass a drug screen, prior to start date.
