Job Title VP - Head of Sanctions, NA Job Description An exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team within the Financial Crime Compliance department in the second line of responsibility. You and Your Job: The Head of Sanctions, NA's main objective is to effectively oversee sanctions compliance risk, through adherence to applicable economic sanctions laws and regulations, as well as Rabobank’s sanctions policies, procedures and guidance. Manages a team of analysts responsible for sanctions related escalations. The Head of Sanctions is responsible for overseeing internal strategies and processes related to sanctions monitoring, promoting awareness of sanctions regulatory requirements throughout the firm, and assessing related sanctions risk exposure. Escalates any issues that require reporting, identifying any potential breaches of sanctions across business units, ensures effective application of controls to evidence adherence to relevant sanctions related standards, policies and procedures. Serves as the primary initial point of contact for the business and Compliance for sanctions related questions and issues. Job Responsibilities: Function as the primary sanctions Point of Contact (“POC”) for the US with respect to communications with and reporting to OFAC. Oversee sanctions escalations, including real-time payments and trade finance trades as well as batch client name screening. Assist with regulatory examinations, internal audits and other testing. Draft and revise OFAC Sanctions Standard and procedures. Your Promise to Us: To be considered for the Head of Sanctions, NA role, you must have: 7 years of prior Sanctions experience. 10 years of prior work experience at a financial institution, law firm, regulatory agency, professional services firm, or other similar work environment. ACSS certification or equivalent preferred but not required Supervisory skills for managing a department of widely varied skill sets. Ability to interact with all levels of management. Strong management and people skills, ability to empathize and also keep team workflow on track. Leadership and strategic influence. Visit www.RabobankNA.com Salary Expectations: Target Hiring Range: New York: $190,000-$220,000 and St. Louis: $150,000-$175,000 This position is subject to the terms of [RAF/Rabobank/RDS]’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular position includes all other benefits provided to [RAF/Rabobank/RDS] employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
