Job description
This position is for an in-home, bathroom sales, design consultant, and Brand Ambassador/Lead Generator for a bathroom remodeling company. Candidate MUST be able to pass a criminal background check.
Experience with in-home sales is preferred but not required - paid training is provided.
Must have HIS License or willing to get an HIS license. (Application & Background Check is all that is required to get this plus the $250 fee)
About the company:
Re-Bath is the largest national provider of bathroom remodeling. We are a franchise of Re-Bath and operate out of Palm Desert, CA. We market our services through our T.V., internet, trade-shows, home improvement store partnerships as well as other channels. Our in-home design consultant will visit customers at their home, present the company, show samples, and work with the customer to design the bathroom using Re-Bath Products and our preferred partners. Projects can include anything from a simple tub/shower update to a complete bathroom remodel including vanity, flooring, electrical etc.
All of our appointments are QUALIFIED, PRESET and CONFIRMED before the design consultant arrives. NO COLD CALLING!
There are two parts of this job.
1. In-home Design Consultant
2. Brand Ambassador/Lead Generator
As a Brand Ambassador you will work with Local retailers like The Home Depot and teach associates about the Re-Bath program and how to find interested prospects. You will also talk to customers and find people who are interested in remodeling their bathroom. All interested prospects will meet with you.
No door knocking or having to build a client base.
- Make a connection with our customers, review their needs, assist with product/design selections, make recommendations provide accurate pricing and close the sale.
- Prepare and present in-home sales presentations to potential customers, close the sale and establish a contract.
- Conduct a thorough inspection of the bathroom, measure, take photos and calculate the cost of the project using the provided software.
- Review project proposal with Customer, address potential obstacles to contract and collect/prepare necessary documentation/contracts/down payment.
- Prepare the Job Sales Packet, which includes the completed and signed the contract, photographs of the area the project will be installed at, diagram of the bath and credit application (if needed).
- Participate in local, regional, and corporate sales and product training and seminars in person, online, and through various content delivery resources.
- Prepare order packet including proper measurements of the space, scope of work and drawings.
Qualifications
- Tech Savvy, (ipad & computer application)
- Ability to use a tape measure and calculate sqft and sketch a simple bathroom layout.
- Self-motivated with a high urgency to succeed. WE NEED CLOSERS!
- Comfortable presenting to homeowners using iPad and assisting with bathroom design
- Veterans and Military Reservists highly sought after
- Be 21 years of age
- Ability to learn, master and implement the Re-Bath Franchise System tools, products, training and resources.
- Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the company trade area.
- A warm, outgoing and enthusiastic personality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail Oriented!!
- Must be able to meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practices.
- Must be able to lift, reach, bend, stoop, and safely lift and easily maneuver items frequently weighing up to 50 pounds. Sample cases will need to be carried into customer’s home and at times up flights of stairs.
- Dependable transportation (Required), valid driver's license/insurance (Required) & clean driving record.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and 50 state background check.

- Part of the job is hourly $20-$23 an hour
- The other part is completely commission based on sales
