Your Role:
We seek a seasoned Lead Procurement Specialist committed to managing supplier partnerships, placing and tracking purchase orders, and mentoring junior buying staff.
Your Impact:
- Maintain and audit our MRP systems for effective supply chain management.
- Work autonomously as a buyer and provide guidance to less experienced colleagues.
- Source and foster relationships with new vendors for project success.
- Engage in price negotiations to meet budgetary requirements.
- Aid in new supplier approval processes alongside Quality Engineers.
- Ensure design data remains consistent through procurement stages.
- Enhance manufacturing designs by collaborating with engineers and suppliers.
- Maintain clear communication of cost particulars to project leads.
- Contribute to process optimization within the purchasing sector.
Qualifications:
- 10-12 years in a procurement role, emphasizing supply chain complexities.
- Fluid understanding of supply dynamics and manufacturing procedures.
- Preference for candidates with a degree in Supply Chain or Business Management.
