Role OverviewWe are on the lookout for a dynamic Precision CNC Process Engineer who can conduct thorough analyses of machined goods both before and after order completion. In this role, you'll collaborate cross-functionally to develop machining strategies, create custom fixture designs, and offer indispensable technical guidance to our CNC programming and operations teams.
Your Responsibilities- Analyze customer blueprints and models for technical viability.
- Provide strategic feedback on manufacturability to clients, ensuring DFM principles are adhered to.
- Craft precise machining strategies, selecting and sequencing different machining operations effectively.
- Deliver accurate machining cycle time approximations and stock size recommendations.
- Facilitate material configuration and sequencing within ERP systems as per machining requirements.
- Engineer custom work holding solutions and develop associated CAD models and schematics.
- Compose CAD machining assemblies showcasing the optimal machining strategy.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or technology is preferred, paired with at least five years of experience in CNC programming across 3, 4, and 5 axis milling technologies.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Quality Management System understanding.
- Proven aerospace industry experience is highly advantageous.
- Expertise in generating CAD models and managing SolidWorks operations.
- A track record of providing DFM insights and constructive design feedback.
