Position Overview
Become an integral part of Composite Resources’ journey as a Precision Paint Application Technician, expertly managing the art of composite material painting and refinement.
Responsibilities
- Precisely follow customer specifications when applying paint to materials
- Keep spray guns and other tools in pristine condition, ensuring peak performance
- Prepare all parts with expert sanding and accurate taping before paint application
- Achieve top-tier finishes using water and solvent-based coatings on a spectrum of finishes including urethane and epoxy CARC
- Operate both gravity and pressure feed painting gear efficiently
- Ensure perfection through careful work within exact tolerances
- Conduct independent quality evaluations on work completed
What You Bring
- Demonstrated expertise with 3-5 years’ experience in industrial painting
- Skill in applying and sanding body fillers
- Read and interpret technical documentation for accurate paint formulation
- Measure wet and dry mil thickness effectively
- Experience with industrial or automotive painting environments preferred, including key skills like masking and priming
- Competence with paint spraying tools, smoothing equipment, and prep techniques preferred
- Possess a collaborative attitude to work effortlessly with teams and supervisors
- High school diploma or equivalent
