What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Tank Cleaning Technician position at Re-Gen Waste?
The Job
We are seeking a Tank Cleaning Technician to service petrochemical tanks.
Using high-pressure water, vac trucks, and confined space procedures, you clean, remove, and decontaminate these systems so the site can keep running — or shut down safely for maintenance.
Please Apply If:
✅ Confined Space Entry (CSE)
You’re trained to work safely inside tanks, vessels, or pits where there is limited access and a risk of low oxygen or hazardous gases.
✅ Top Man
You’re the safety spotter. You stay outside the confined space, monitor the person inside, and are ready to assist or raise the alarm if something goes wrong.
✅ Rescue Training
If someone gets into trouble inside a tank, you know how to get them out — using safety gear and proper procedure. You're part of the emergency plan.
✅ High Pressure Jetting
You’ve been trained to use high-powered water jets (usually >1000 bar) to remove sludge, debris, or industrial waste from inside tanks, pipes, or drains. Often messy, always critical.
✅ Must pass drug and alcohol test
Self-explanatory — you’ll be screened before starting.
