What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Advocate position at RE Inc?
This position does require a valid drivers license.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments of families to identify their specific needs and challenges.
- Collaborate with DPHHS-CFSD to design, organize, and lead programs targeting various aspects of family well-being.
- Assist families in accessing necessary social and community resources, both formal and informal.
- Employ logical reasoning to analyze problems and identify effective solutions and approaches.
- Communicate effectively through written and verbal means, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
- Utilize accelerated computer skills with a focus on the G Suite platform.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to aiding both staff and clients in accessing resources.
- Prioritize tasks, set achievable goals, and formulate organized plans to accomplish work duties.
Fulfill any additional responsibilities deemed essential by the Team Manager or other members of Management.
Qualifications:
Solid computer skills, particularly in using the G Suite platform.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify strengths and weaknesses of different solutions.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective information exchange.
- Capacity to gather information from diverse sources, process it effectively, and make informed decisions.
- Proven organizational abilities, with the capability to set goals, prioritize tasks, and execute plans efficiently.
