Tree Care Estimator/Project Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the estimating process for tree care projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in cost assessments. You will collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to develop competitive bids and maintain cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Your expertise in tree, and landscaping estimating and management will be essential in driving project success.

Responsibilities

• Lead the estimating team in preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
• Analyze project plans and specifications to identify scope of work and potential challenges.
• Collaborate with project management teams to ensure alignment on project budgets and timelines.
• Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best value for projects.
• Monitor ongoing projects for cost control, identifying areas for improvement or adjustment.
• Conduct site visits to gather information and assess conditions that may impact costs.

Skills

• Strong background in tree, and landscaping estimating with a solid understanding of construction site operations.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong negotiation skills to achieve favorable pricing agreements.
• Knowledge of cost control measures and techniques within the construction industry.
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
