Job Description:
The Managing Broker / Growth Consultant confidently believes in the value proposition of RE/MAX Preferred / RE/MAX Concepts and is motivated to discover, attract, and hire like-minded Agents/Brokers to the Brokerage. This role involves enthusiastically sharing the Brokerage’s value with recruiting prospects and inviting them to invest in and develop their career potential.
This position reports to the President and works in collaboration with the Leadership Team. The Managing Broker / Growth Consultant takes responsibility for providing growth-oriented Agent prospects with strategic information, instruction, and consultation to advance their careers consistently and continually.

Responsibilities:
- Commit to staying accountable to recruiting goals established collaboratively with the President/Leadership Team.
- Develop and maintain an extensive database of prospective Agents.
- Solicit target Agents via multiple methods of daily communication (phone, email, text).
- Be present and engaged at industry-related classes, social events, REALTOR and MLS functions, and meetings.
- Establish and maintain a consistent email/postal drip campaign for all prospects.
- Memorize and internalize effective prospecting scripts.
- Set daily recruiting appointments (up to 80 calls per week).
- Direct and maintain recruiting-based website; contribute to office blog and intranet in collaboration with the marketing department.
- Conduct daily recruiting conversations and presentations.
- Consistently follow up with Agents after recruiting conversations.
- Participate in Agent onboarding activities and 90-Day Success Plan if requested.
- Develop, lead, and follow an intentional and proactive recruiting plan for the Brokerage.
- Study real estate business strategies and remain aware of Agent issues.
- Consistently update and revise recruiting systems.
- Maintain a Recruiting CRM used by the company and provide bi-weekly scorecards to ownership.
- Maintain relationships with existing RE/MAX agents, other area agents, and affiliates to capitalize on referral opportunities.
- Engage office staff in recruiting activities when appropriate.
- Participate in industry events where prospects are present.
- Facilitate a smooth transition for recruits by coordinating with the onboarding team regarding office space assignments, licensing, and technology setup.
- Support and become proficient in the Brokerage’s technology tools, including virtual communication platforms and paperless transaction management.
Requirements:
- Willingness to fully commit to supporting and promoting the Mission, Vision, Values, and Beliefs of RE/MAX Preferred / RE/MAX Concepts.
- Managing Broker experience required (for in-person role).
- Preferred three years’ experience in management, sales, or recruiting.
- Active Real Estate Brokers License required.
- Strong critical thinking, leadership, teaching, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience understanding, managing, and reporting data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and G-Suite.
- Excellent business communication skills (written and verbal) and basic business math skills.
- Ability to commute to appointments and branch offices as needed (including occasional overnight travel).
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $70,000/year Incentives
