Job Summary/Overview
The position is responsible for the safe, productive pick up / delivery of materials to our locations
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Adhere to and follow all safety rules and regulations per working site (MSHA/DOT/DEP/OSHA)
· Adhere to and follow all company safety rules and regulations
· Preform daily pre/post shift inspections on equipment
· Maintain all fluid levels in trucks daily
· Knowledge and skill of operating truck
· Turn in all maintenance requests daily
· Turn in all fuel/mileage reports daily
· Daily communication with plant operators and other workers on site as needed
· Keep cab of truck clean and litter free
· Fuel truck daily at the end of every shift
· Involved with the training of new coworkers in the safe operation of equipment
· Daily communication with fleet manager
· Communication with vendors and or customers
· Other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications:
· Good communication skills
· Strong teamwork skills
· Ability to work in outside weather conditions
· Ability to work to strict deadlines
· Ability to take and follow direction
· Sound understanding of health and safety codes
· Ability to work hours when schedule may vary
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
