Responsibilities
- Respond to all rental inquiries with urgency and care
- Schedule showings and coordinate with prospective tenants to tour properties, answer questions and finalize terms of leases
- Conduct property tours with qualified applicants
- Submit background checks, review reference letters, confirm rental history and income verification, and lease application review
- Conduct home inspections throughout the leasing season
- Build and maintain a rapport with current and prospective tenants
- Use sales tactics and negotiation skills to execute terms of lease
- Confirm leased units are move in ready and properly keyed for new tenants
- Ensure tenants receive appropriate communication on tenant portal activation, online payments, and move-in checklists
Qualifications
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Works well under pressure and deadlines
- Multitasking and time management skills
- Comprehensive negotiation skills and sales techniques
- Collaborative nature and team player mentality
- Great customer service skills with personable yet professional demeanor
- Experience with AppFolio and Slack beneficial but not required
Requirements
- Flexible schedule - Rotating nights and weekends are mandatory
- Valid Driver's License and Vehicle are required
- Must pass criminal background check
- 1-2 years experience in leasing preferred
- Must live in Pittsburgh, relocation's will not be considered
- Must have previous sales experience, will not be considered without

- $40,000-$45,000/year base salary plus commission per lease/renewal signed
