Job Title: Maintenance Crew Driver
Department: Maintenance
Reports to: Account Manager
Position: Non-exempt, non-remote, hourly
Job Purpose: To operate utility vehicles and assist the crew leader in the landscape maintenance of Rea Landscape properties
Primary Job Function: To transport maintenance crews to and from RLM offices and job sites safely and maintain grounds of properties using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, blowing, planting, and debris and trash pick up.
Essential Job Functions:
- Requires valid drivers' license and clean driving record
- Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods.
- Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
- Secure cargo for transport, using ropes, blocks, chain, binders, or covers.
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
- Ability to speak and understand spanish strongly preferred for this position

- Landscaping - knowledge of basic lawn Care (Fertilization,Cutting/Mowing, Seeding, Sod Installation, Aeration, Disease Control) Plant and insect identification. Picking/Killing Weeds. Tree and bush trimming. Plant/flower planting and care.
- Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Public Safety and Security - Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
- Transportation - Knowledge of principles and methods for moving people or goods by road
