A Day in the Life
As a Fixed Wing Pilot at REACH Air Medical Services, your day will be filled with exciting opportunities to make a difference in people's lives. From pre-flight preparation to post-flight debriefing, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patients to and from medical facilities. You will work closely with a team of medical experts to provide high-quality patient care, while adhering to the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-flight checks and ensure aircraft readiness for dispatch
- Collaborate with air and ground dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners to ensure seamless operations
- Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to maintain required certifications
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including load manifests and company reports
Requirements
- 1st or 2nd Class Medical certification
- Ability to work variable schedules, including night shifts and rotating days off
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in FAR regulations and company procedures
