Job Title : Field Service Coordinator

Salary : $5060K plus bonus
Job Summary of the Field Service Coordinator : As a Field Service Coordinator you will be an essential part of the Field Service Team assisting with many daytoday requests including estimating small service jobs and following up with customers on active quotations and orders coordinating with the outside sales force on customer requests processing purchase orders job sheets and customer invoices in a timely fashion communicating with Field Service Technicians customers and subcontractors about logistics and schedules of service jobs and managing shortterm projects to successful completion. The Field Service Coordinator works directly with the Service Business Specialist and Field Service Manager to support the current and longterm growth
Responsibilities of the Field Service Coordinator :
o Fully support the service business and opportunities throughout the Americas.
o Handle daytoday customer requests such as providing price and availability and communicating the status of quotes orders and shipments.
o Work with customers primarily via telephone and email to determine product or project specifications related to service capabilities.
o Create quotes and provide technical documents to customers when needed.
o Regularly follow up on active quotations and work with outside sales Market Development Managers or others as needed to put in the best possible position to win the business.
o Routinely update customer records in Navpoint for accuracy and completeness during and after customer interactions.
o Develop a basic understanding of products and the applications in which they are used.
o Collect and record details related to pending active and completed Service projects and sales orders.
o Coordinate with the Field Service Group Sales customers etc. for scheduling and completion of Service jobs.
o Outbound call and email customers as assigned for followup lead qualification prospecting and other business development activities.
o Travel is infrequent. However travel to support a trade show or occasional visits to a customer's facility or job site may be necessary to support the customer; facilitate learning; or improve knowledge of applications markets field issues or usage of products.
o After initial training this position can be Hybrid and work from home 2 days a week.
Qualifications of the Field Service Coordinator :
o Bachelor's degree in Business preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
o Construction or general contractor experience is a plus.
o Direct experience estimating or bidding such work is also a plus
o Ability to type a minimum of 50 words per minute with an accuracy of at least 90.
o Proficient in using Microsoft Outlook Teams Word Excel and PowerPoint.
o Industry background in construction plumbing electrical HVAC and has worked in the field and an office setting.
o Experience with bidding quotes problemsolving ordering parts and customer service.
o Experience with field service tech deployment into the field.
o Ability to read blueprints.
o Ability to deal effectively with discounts percentages proportions and currency conversion.
o Ability to read and analyze business information.
o Presentation and customer service interaction skills.
