Work Schedule: 8am to 5pm - Monday through Friday (one-hour lunch from noon to 1pm)
This position provides clerical and admin support for the directors and other departments as directed by their supervisor, limited tech support for DSP Training Computer area, and purchasing of general office supplies.
Reception:
- Answer calls and emails promptly.
- Manage office closures with clear signage.
- Keep the coffee area and reception clean and stocked.
- Track guest parking and address any issues.
- Handle office supplies, mail, and credit card receipts.
- Update the staff directory regularly.
- Assist with special projects.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold REACH's values.
- Complete additional tasks as needed.
Supported Employment
- Provide Supported employment services.
- Complete detailed Therap notes for all employment service hours in timely manner.
- Work side by side with individuals when necessary to model work performance.
- Complete all required client service orientation training and maintain required certifications throughout employment.
DSP Training Computer Area:
- Help new employees use computers for Therap and ADP training.
- Work with supervisors for extra tech help or training.
- Assist job applicants in the computer area.
- Perform other tasks as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Positive attitude, even in challenging situations.
- Respectful and supportive communication with co-workers.
- Good organization, documentation, and time management.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and solve problems effectively.
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Position Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Six (6) months clerical experience
Physical Requirements:
This position will work primarily in an office environment requiring a full range of motion including standing, walking, bending, and twisting as necessary. This position will spend a significant amount of time using a computer requiring visual acuity, color definition, and dexterity in fingers/hands. This position may at times require employees to transition between interior workspaces including but not limited to exposure to the elements and walking on uneven ground.
Conditions of Employment:
Must pass the pre-employment background check and maintain the ability to pass throughout employment with REACH.
Must complete CPR/First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens, and HIPAA training within 30 days of employment.
