About the Role
A fixed-wing King Air pilot is required to provide medical air transportation services. The position offers a unique schedule with 1 week on/1 week off rotations, featuring both day and night trips.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring aircraft readiness in accordance with manuals and regulatory documentation, including FAR and company requirements. They must also maintain accurate records and documentations of shifts, load manifests, and other relevant details. Effective communication and collaboration are essential among dispatch teams, flight crews, facilities, and partners. Additionally, the pilot will provide shift change information and follow established protocols for recording company data.
Schedule and Work Environment
The pilot schedule involves working 12-hour shifts, typically beginning at 0500 or 1700, with a 7 days on/7 days off rotation. Flights may extend beyond the standard 12 hours but usually do not last longer than 15 hours.
