Helicopter Pilot Role Overview
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to our customers. The successful candidate will work with a team of medical experts to ensure safe and efficient transportation of patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain aircraft readiness for flight dispatches, adhering to FAR and company requirements
- Ensure accurate documentation and record keeping for shifts, load manifests, etc.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with air and ground dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
- Provide shift change information to transitioning pilot and team, following protocols for recording company change board details
Requirements
- Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
- Helicopter instrument rating
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- 2,000 helicopter flight hours
- 1,000 helicopter PIC hours
- 200 helicopter night flight hours (aided and/or unaided)
