Lead Pilot (SPIFR) Position
We are seeking a skilled Lead Pilot to join our team at GMR Companies in beautiful Santa Rosa, CA.
Pilots with GMR Companies enjoy competitive starting salaries ranging from $115,172 to $126,689, depending on experience (DOE).
The Lead Pilot stipend adds an additional $5,000, while the Multi-Responsibility stipend and IFR Allowance each add another $5,000.
A 15K sign-on bonus is awarded after training, and a 40K retention bonus is available after 36 months in the GMR Pilot Retention Bonus Plan.
Job Summary
We are hiring a Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to our customers. This role requires flying our EC135 aircraft and working with a team of medical experts to safely transport patients to and from locations and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with medical experts to ensure safe patient transportation.
- Maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and record keeping for shifts, load manifests, etc.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with air and ground dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
- Provide shift change information to transitioning pilots and teams, and follow protocols for recording company change board details.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
- Helicopter instrument rating
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- 2,000 helicopter flight hours
- 1,000 helicopter PIC hours
- 1,000 turbine hours
- Min. 200 helicopter night flight hours (aided and/or unaided)
- Min. 100 hours cumulative instrument flight time (for IFR roles)
Additional Requirements:
- Duty weight not to exceed 230 lbs, including flight suit and boots
- Previous Airbus EC135/H135 or similar aircraft experience preferred but not required
