What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Group Home Manager-Yukon position at Reach Out?
Reach Out, Inc. is a Home and Community-based Services (HCS) Medicaid Waiver program providing services to people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in group homes, family homes and client homes. Services are provided in a team approach with supports for people with IDD to live in their own home and participate in their communities.
The Group Home Manager is responsible for the overall management of the assigned group home and staff. The Managers are also responsible for ensuring all clients meet prescribed outcomes as defined in their individual service plan; the coordination and compliance with applicable federal and state standards; and company policies, procedures and beliefs.
Group Home Manager Job Duties
- Provide staff training and supervision
- Complete safety instruction, grocery shopping, staff coaching, monitoring, and discipline
- Accompany clients on medical appointments
- Insure all documentation is completed by staff.
- The position may require a significant amount of client personal care
Job Requirements
- 2 years experience in working with persons who have disabilities or special needs
- At least 21 years of age.
- Must be available for on-call
- Must pass drug screening, background check and driving record criteria
- Valid driver's license and current Motor Vehicle Insurance
- Must have reliable transportation for work
- Must be able to complete all job duties with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be fluent in English (Speak, Read and Write)
Regular Work Schedule:
40 hours per week Monday-Friday (7am-3pm) on call
