Position Title: Grants Coordinator
Position Goals and Role:
This is a full time position at REACH Medical, PLLC. The Grants Coordinator will play a crucial role in the coordination, development, and implementation of REACH Medical's grants and related programs. This position is responsible for overseeing the planning, administrative management, and closeout tasks of REACH grants and related activities. The Grants Coordinator will collaborate closely with the finance team and ensure that grant-related policies and procedures, reports, and communications mirror best practices.
Grants Coordinator Duties:
Coordinates across departments to collaborate on grant proposals and serve as an organizational resource on all REACH grant-related activities.

Grant Procurement
- Assist the Management Team in identifying and pursuing grant opportunities that align with REACH's mission and values.

Grant Submission
- Draft letters of support for REACH grants and to support other organizations
- Develop the needed skill set to manage grant proposal projects to include
- Collection of needed documents
- Work Plans
- Initial budget

Section Narratives
- Develop the needed skill set to write smaller grant proposals and sections of larger grants

Maintain updated materials needed for many grants for example:
- Organizational Tax ID forms
- Policies and Procedures
- Compliance Standards
- Standard Operating Procedures

Grant Contracting

Work closely with the Comptroller and Management Team to:
- Create Budgets
- Write Initial Grant Narratives
- Identify Grant Outcome Measures
- Present full contracting packages to the management team for approval before submission
- Coordinate all edits and updates needed for grant contracts to be executed

Develop, implement and maintain the necessary record keeping workflows for each grant to include:
- Staff time certifications
- Receipts
- Collection of outcome measures
- Provide regular education and status updates on all grants to supervisors, staff, stakeholders, the Peer Advisory Board and the Board of Directors
- Maintain a database of potential, current and past grants

Additional responsibilities
- Attend funder and grantee meetings and workshops as appropriate
- Coordinate with the Comptroller and Compliance Officer to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and develop/implement policy and procedure to ensure the adherence to best practices throughout the grant-making process.
- Other duties as assigned by the Finance Director.
- Bachelors in healthcare administration, accounting, finance or similar.
- Three (3) years of grant writing experience.
- Three (3) years of non-profit experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong verbal skills and ability to communicate abstract concepts in an understandable format.
- Ability to communicate with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds
- Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize work; detail oriented
- Flexibility to meet a variety of changing and often competing priorities
