Reach St. Pete, a local nonprofit organization providing essential resources to those in need, is seeking a responsible and experienced Part-Time Transit Van Driver. This role involves driving our refrigerated van for deliveries and special events as needed. The ideal candidate has a clean driving record, reliable transportation, and flexibility for varying work hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a transit van for scheduled deliveries and special events.
- Ensure timely and accurate transportation of goods (e.g., groceries, supplies) to designated locations.
- Assist with loading/unloading items from the van as needed.
- Perform basic vehicle checks to ensure the van is road-ready.
- Maintain communication with the Reach St. Pete team regarding scheduling and routes.
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and help with loading/unloading.
- Flexibility to work on an as-needed basis, including evenings or weekends.
- Familiarity with Pinellas County is a plus.
