What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Care Facility Manager Group Home (Part-time) On Call Overnight (11pm to 7am) position at Reach To Win Youth Home & Family Services Inc?
Reach to Win Youth Home & Family Services is a Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP). The program provides daily assistance, mental healthcare support, and living accommodations to foster teen girls in need. We provide a home environment. The Facility Manager reports directly to the Program Specialist (Facility Administrator).
Collaborating with the mental health team which includes licensed and registered clinicians (LCSW, ACSW and AMFT) provides key learning experiences for growth opportunities.
The Facility Manager shall be a minimum of 21 years of age, pass all background clearances, possess a clean driving record, valid Driver's License, current automobile insurance, and shall qualify for the position by meeting at least ONE for the following qualifications:
Have a Bachelor of Science or Arts degree in a Behavioral Science such as Psychology, Sociology, or similar.
Two years of full-time experience, or equivalent, working with youth, or equivalent education or experience as determined by CDSS.
Experience shall be verified as having been performed as a paid or volunteer staff person whose duties required direct supervision and care of youth.
Two years of experience as a member of the social work staff in a group home or STRTP performing those duties.
The Facility Manager shall be present in each Reach To Win Youth & Family Services facility at all times when youth are present. Facility Manager functions shall include, but not be limited to:
Support the Program Specialist in the day-to-day operations of the facility assigned.
Apply the "Reasonable and Prudent Parenting Standard" to decisions involving the participation of a youth in age or developmentally appropriate activities in accordance with rules, laws, and policies and procedures when the Program Specialist is not present.
Train, support, and in concert with the Program Specialist, guide and direct the direct care staff to ensure appropriate care and supervision is delivered to all assigned youth in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies and procedures.
Directly supervise youth as assigned.
Oversee the daily schedule of activities.
Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures of Reach To Win Youth & Family Services by self and all direct care staff in the assigned facility.
Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
Report to the Program Specialist and make recommendations for continuous quality improvements.
All other duties as assigned by the Program Specialist.
