Outreach Coordinator

Overview:

Reach to Win Youth Home & Family Services (RTW) has been awarded a grant to train therapists to provide Dialectical Behavior Therapy

(DBT) to male and female youth ages 12-17 and non-minor dependents aged 18-25. The grant run over a two year period and is designed

to aid youth in the Contra Costa County area and have histories of trauma and abuse.

Position Summary:

Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for connecting to community organizations and identifying potential referral sources for the

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) grant. Provide written and internet-based communication and speak to organizations about the

program. Track activities and their outcomes in client referrals and admissions to the program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Become informed about the grant and DBT services.

Research community organizations to conduct outreach services.

Track outreach efforts and complete monthly reports of efforts.

Communicate with leaders of local organizations to promote the grant.

Produce mailing material and social media campaign.

Research innovative methods for outreach campaigns.

Participate in local events and activities that increase the visibility of the grant.

Occasionally travel to complete work-related tasks as assigned by the Outreach Manager.

Demonstrate respect for the cultural and lifestyle diversities of the community.

Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders, community leaders, and families.

Attends all required staff meetings.

Attends in-service training and educational workshops.

Education:

A Bachelor’s Degree in human services, communications, or related field is preferred.

Experience:

One (1) year of outreach coordination, business development, or marketing in a social service organization.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
