Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Act as lead in a specific department with ability to flex to other departments as needed
- Utilize Asana task management system to execute brand/inventory tasks, requests, and follow up
- Respond to brand management and inventory management requests
- Escalate brand/inventory management issues, many of which rely on coordinating with resources outside of the building to resolve
- Work closely with Operations Specialist at HQ to solve barriers between brand/inventory management
- Work directly with an assigned group of associates, assist as needed
- Maintain and enforce high quality standards across department
- Guide and train current and new employees on process guidelines and new/updated procedures
- Promote a positive team-oriented environment and lead by example
- Delegate and assign work to team members
- Assist with problems/issues with orders and find quick resolution
- Monitor department to ensure all safety measures and company policies are followed
- Communicate information effectively using encouragement, active listening and coaching
- Oversee cleanliness and organization of department
- Assist in movement of product using pallet jacks as needed
- Assist with Training as needed
- Work in DTC, shipping, receive, and problem solve as a lead or associate as needed
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving and motivational skills
- Previous leadership experience
- Self-efficiency and self-motivated
- Hands-on and solution-oriented with ability to multitask as well as lead in fast-paced team environment
- Flexible, able to effectively prioritize tasks
- Ability to motivate employees to maximize their efforts in productivity and quality
- Proficient experience with Google Suite, WMS (Shelf preferred), Asana (or similar task management software)
- Ability to speak, read and write in English
Physical Requirements
- Stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours
- Regularly bend, lift, stretch and reach both below the waist and above the head
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push/pull to operate a pallet jack
